Growing up in a broken home, my family was never big on church. Coming up I really did not know much about Christianity, Just like the majority, I had the same excuses that are passed down to everyone that wants to do and live the way they want, which definitely made me even less eager to find out. I thought that if I really decided to Turn to God, I would not be able to have any fun, life would be strict. Little did I realize, that wasn't the case at all. Yes you might give up a few things, but you actually begin to understand why as you begin your walk and relationship with God.

Once I accepted Jesus Christ as my lord and savior, believing that he is the son of God and believing that he had risen on the third day after his death. I began to really understand and actually feel and see the transformation in my life. As I went through all the emotions of being a new believer while going through struggles and challenges. I dug deeper and deeper, I prayed without ceasing, and while my faith grew stronger; blessings started rolling in. I found peace and rest inside Gods presence, I finally felt real joy, and I gained wisdom and understanding. I can truly say that I am walking in faith and not by sight and honestly, I can not imagine life any other way. 

I kept praying daily while I was surrendering to God and giving up all my own personal desires while being still and really listening for Gods voice and guidance on what I should do. I wanted Gods will to be done in my life! As I was patiently waiting enjoying the transformation that was happening in my life. I was scrolling down my timeline one day on Twitter, and I saw a hand that was upside down with a gold tip on one of the fingers and underneath it said, "Turn to Gold." after seeing it I said, "It would be sweet if it said, "Turn 2 God." After saying that, I began drawing and putting it on paper on how I envisioned it to look on a shirt. At that time, that is when I knew a part of my purpose came alive.

My vision is to reach out to people who were like me. That lacked a relationship with God. Knowing that I was missing something but not knowing or getting a clear message. I want to bring that clear message and hopefully plant that seed because it is very simple, but I know that we tend to miss the simple things that actually play a big role. 

Always wanting to wear clothes that not only looked good but had a message to it has always been a goal of mine. Receiving this name that came to me, I knew I was supposed to share it with the world.
